3e Lambikstoempers Bierweekend @Halle
For the 23rd time De Lambikstoempers organises its annual BEER WEEKEND, 24-25 August at CC ‘t Vondel, Joseph Possozplein 40 in 1500 Halle. This event is a prelude to the start of Belgium Beer Week 2024.
As in previous years, they have again taken a broad approach and you get to choose from more than 100 different beers, a selection of novelties, supplemented with established names, as well as innovative beers. All corners of the Belgian beer country are covered.
Moreover, there will be a ‘BIG LAMBIC BAR’, where you can (re)taste more than 70 lambic beers: from the basic lambic brew to various Oude Geuze, Oude Kriek and other (fruit) beers of spontaneous fermentation. And yes, you are sure to find some “speciallekes” here too. For example: you can taste the brand new Cuvée Lambikstoemper 2024 Oude Geuze for the very first time!
All beers are served in our own 15cl Lambikstoempers tasting glasses and sold at democratic prices. This should make it possible to taste several of these beers.
The hungry ones can also purchase tasty, local snacks. And an unmissable success with visitors is always our big Beer Tombola: for a small contribution, you have a chance to return home with a nice beer prize.
‘Not the biggest, but the most enjoyable beer festival’
De Lambikstoempers is one of the local associations of the Belgian beer taster association Zythos vzw. Our goal: by means of tastings, topic evenings, brewery visits, trips and everything that has even slightly to do with beer, in a loose and pleasant, but especially objective manner take a closer look and discuss the several aspects of beer. It goes without saying that we, seen our given region, the Pajottenland & Zennevallei, have a special attention on the lambic beers (Oude Geuze, Oude Kriek, Faro …) without excluding other kinds and styles of beers.
